If you click on the story banners, you will be taken to my fanfictions :) I hope you enjoy. If you feel generous, you could pop over to HPFF and leave a review on whichever story you read!
These stories are very dear to me, and a lot of time has been spent writing them so far. They are the reason this site exists, and they allow me to enjoy the story of the Marauders that JKR never wrote. I have to admit, though, that I am a little lazy and unmotivated, and it takes me a long time to update even if I have nothing better to do.
In My Time of Dying is my biggest story. It's a huge novel in which I intend to include many, many details of the Marauders lives during the first war. I'm trying not to miss anything, and really learning how to work on fine details and planning and consistency. As long as it's a WIP, I'm sure it's going to have a lot of errors or parts that don't make much sense, and eventually I hope to go over it and fix those. For now, it's just a big project and a fun learning experience. We all tend to write what we would want to read, and I'm really enjoying going more into detail on friendships than on romance.
This story pretty much dominates my life at the present. I think about it every day, even if I'm too lazy to work on writing it.
Mischief Managed is the prequel to In My Time of Dying. It's more of a collection of many stories than a novel, though I expect it to be long as it covers seven years. I've barely given it any time or attention yet, and its hanging in there with a feeble start. It's hopefully going to have the same basis as it's sequel - to cover as much of the Marauders' lives as possible, except this one takes place during their time in Hogwarts.
Far From Flawless was meant to be a companion piece to In My Time of Dying. That was before I start Mischief Managed. Over time, I've come to the decision that I'm just not happy with this story or the way things happened in it, and I no longer wish it to be considered in the same 'world' as In My Time of Dying. I will cover the same story in Mischief Managed (eventually), which is IMTD's prequel. Anyway, this story is a short tale about how James finally managed to win Lily over in their seventh year.
This is Boggart. I loved this story. This is very short, only about 1200 words. This is a different point of view on the boggart that gave Molly Weasley such a hard time in Grimmauld Place. This is the boggart in Sirius Black's eyes.
Shine On: Three generations of Lupins look upon the full moon. One feels anger and hate, one feels fear and shame; one feels love and longing. But there is comfort, at least, in the fact that all of them looked. It is not just a moon, but a way of life.
This is an idea that came to me whilst reading somebody else's one shot, in which for a brief moment, Victoire observed Teddy looking at the moon and knew he was thinking about his father. This story is kind of random, a little plotless - but then I guess all my one shots lack plot. They're more vaguely explored ideas than anything. I'm not very proud of it, didn't spend a lot of time on it, but it is there. And I like the banner.
This story isn't fully a Marauder fic - it does have a portion for Remus, but that is only 1/3 of the fiction. Nevertheless, with Teddy (who makes up another 1/3) being both a Black and a Lupin, I think it fits all right. The whole situation is based upon the fact that Remus is a werewolf anyway.
